Returns and Refunds
Digital Products
We do not offer returns or refunds on digital products.
The only exception is if you accidentally purchase a duplicate digital item. In that case, we will refund you with a store credit if a request is made within 48 hours of purchase.
When you purchase an e-book or audiobook, it is instantly delivered to your inbox, and there is no way for our automated system to retrieve it. This policy protects our author and her hard work.
If you purchased a digital book and can't find it, please ensure you're checking the right email and check your spam folder.
If you find nothing, please check your BookFunnel library. You can find this at my.bookfunnel.com. Your email is your login.
You can also install the BookFunnel app to log into your BookFunnel library and read your e-book via the BookFunnel app.
If you still cannot find your book, contact BookFunnel at help@bookfunnel.com. They have a talented technical support team that is more than willing and able to help you.
Digital Gift Cards
We do not offer a refund of the balance on an e-gift card under any circumstance.
Returns and Exchanges
Physical Products
We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and offer a 100% refund if a damaged or faulty item is delivered.
With a return or exchange, all goods must be unused and undamaged, and include proof of purchase.
Damaged or Wrong Items and Other Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. We have a 10% restocking fee on any returned item.
To initiate a return or exchange, email shop@barrettbookshop.com with the subject line of "Returns" or "Exchange" and your order number. Provide your order number, name, a photo of your product, and your reason for return or exchange.
After the item is received and inspected, you will receive an email notifying you of the status of your request.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you the instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping on returned items. Contact us for information about an exchange at shop@barrettbookshop.com. After the item is received and inspected, you will receive an email notifying you of the status of your request.
If your refund request is approved, a store credit will be applied to your account within 10 business days.
Refunds
If you request a refund, we will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically issued a store credit within 10 business days.
If you do not see the store credit on your account after 15 business days since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at shop@barrettbookshop.com.
Exchange
If you request an exchange, we will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your item to let you know if your exchange was approved. If approved, we will send you the replacement within three business days.
